Centennial Tertiary Scholarship
There will be one recipient of $3000 to assist a member of SWDOGA to further or complete tertiary education in 2027.
You will need to register online, on this event page when it opens.
Registrations will open on 16th of November
and close on the 27th of October.
The recipients will be notified by Monday the 14th of December
Applicant eligibility
Must be a financial member of the SWDOGA (or willing to become one). To inquire about becoming a financial member email: waidiooga@gmail.com
Must have completed her secondary education at Waikato Diocesan School for Girls
Must have completed at least two years of tertiary study at a recognised institution
Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in further tertiary study, or to complete tertiary study, at a recognised institution.
Criteria
The committee will consider the following criteria in making their overall selection/judgement. The committee appreciates that not all criteria may be met by all applicants.
Academic record and commitment to study
Financial need
Contribution to, or advancement of, SWDOGA
Community engagement and service
The potential contribution of the applicant’s study to their community or wider society.
You will need to upload the following 2 documents to the application
1. Personal Statement in support of your application
Include a brief outline of how you will use the Centennial Tertiary Scholarship and how your studies may help you contribute to community/society. You may also comment on your past or current community and SWDOGA involvement if applicable.
